A rock project that I worked on from 2004, until 2005, when my studio was stolen (laptop and external hard drive).
I salvaged 10 tracks that were mostly-done from a CD I burnt for 'my bass player' at the time to have for listening and practicing before recording (my Papa). He's playing bass on tracks 1-5.
I recorded this album using a laptop with
a 2-channel USB input and cheap software.
Drums we're recorded using my buddy Sean's stand-alone
multi-track recorder and imported via USB to my laptop for
mixing.Since this was the first time I was using a full-band sound, I was pretty happy with the fact that I was improving as an amateur recording artist. I was also happy with the fact that I had changed my sound from acoustic to more of a rock sound.
