After I had finished “Through the Storm”, I enjoyed a bit of a musical evolution. I played drums for a band for a few months, and then transitioned to electric guitar and vocals for a few more months. By that time, I had been set on recording a rock album with my next project. It took a lot longer, but I recorded drums, electric guitars, some acoustic guitars, and even had my dad learn and record bass lines to a bunch of the songs.
As I was finishing the last few songs of the album, I moved to Florida to marry and start playing music with Jess. Not long later, the house we were fixing up to live in was broken into and all the valuables were stolen… including my laptop and external hard drive backup of all the music progress I was making.
All that remains of this project is one of the practice CDs I gave my dad. Thankfully he still had it and the version I gave him was burnt after he had done his first series of bass recordings for me.
