Hey everyone. Lots always going on for me… still.
I joined the church softball team. Our first game was on Thursday. It’s fun because most of the players are guys my age and we play other churches so… I guess I’m saying it’s fun because the guys on my team are all really good players and it looks like we’ll be winning a few games or more… opposed to the teams I played in for little league.
Jess and I are madly in love and trying to plan for this wedding. I have a problem that maybe someone in SV can help me out with: First of all, the wedding will be here in Florida (New Years Eve)… second of all, there will be a reception in Arizona in January. I’ll be sending like everyone I know an invitation to attend whatever they can attend. If someone with a Sierra Vista phone book or contacts (like at Campus Crusade for example) wants to help me out by emailing me some addresses, I’d love it. My mom said she’d do it, but I don’t wanna make her do it all. Anyway, if you’re reading this post, you can also email me your address 🙂 and thanks big-time.
I’m growing, learning and changing alot. Some of it’s hard… some of it’s rewarding and most of it’s good. haha. Well, money is a big thing here… which is funny because I don’t have very much of it. Religion or Church is also a very big thing here. There’s definitely a higher percent of Christians to Non-Christians than what I’m used to. In more critical words, there’s plenty of foundation and love here, but little passion to simply, actually seek the heart of Christ it seems like. Maybe that’s normal, but with more Christians around I guess it’s more obvious. Just a challenge for myself and y’all too I guess.
Jess and I (and even like her mom and stuff) know that we won’t be here forever. I can’t imagine where God will take us, but I’m sure that it’ll all start moving a bit once we get married and settled enough to realize we’re actually married and serving Christ together.
Ahg, I don’t know what to write about. I’m overwhelmed because there’s actually so much going on. Back in the day I used to cover all the main stuff… now I just wanna give up trying to write it. hehe. That’s another difference in Sebring… ALWAYS stinkin busy. I feel like I’m wasting too much time writing this… gah, I AM.
Later, thanks for stopping by.
adam i am so happy for you guys and i’ll be praying for the right thing to happen…you’re the best man!
not the “best man” because obviously you’ll be the groom…what i mean is that you’re the “best, man”. yes. that’s it!
hi adam! how’s life in flordia??? is it extremly humid there still? it’s getting chilly here now.
Yes, please “stop by” more often! You always were one of the people who definitely could brighten my life up while you were around. I’m so excited for you and all of the good things that are happening in your life. Sounds like you guys are already an “old married couple.” But it’s going to be a good time for you, I know. I love hearing about what goes on, so keep us updated! And you know that I can kick your butt anytime! Ha ha ha….good stuff!
Stay strong brother!
there are 343 members in the “sons of thunder” blog – just checkin’ to see how many respond when you leave a comment
(sometimes my interest in statistics borders on lunacy)

thanks for helping with my “stats” project … as of 9am (central) 56/223 responded … (i stopped at 223 with those who had not posted since July of 2005 … an attempt to make the poll a little more accurate) … that means:
25.1% of the people who received a comment responded
(that’s a better response percentage rate than “altar-call” at most churches on Sunday mornin’… “smile”)
Blessings!
Hey Adam, I don’t have you’re email…give me all the low down. I was talking to Bethany last night and we were talking about coming out there.
