This past weekend, Jess and I drove up to Orlando and spent some time there.
Friday night was the first night of “Rock the Universe” at Universal Studios. Millions of youth groups bring their kids to hear some major Christian bands. We got to see Skillet, Grits, Kutless, Relient K and a new inspiring worship band (can’t remember the name). I’ve also never been on the Jaws or Twister rides. That was fun.
That night we stayed in a “bed-and-breakfast” hotel. Then we spent Saturday spending a few bucks here and there before we had to come back for practice (for Sunday).
Yesterday I didn’t have practice for Wednessday youth or worship for Sunday night youth… so we just got to chill. My thumb hurts from playing Street Fighter… but gosh, I only played it for like 20 minuites.
In other news, we’re stumbling around trying to figure out what’s going on with our living and money situations. We can’t contain our decor skills much longer.
I’m going to stop writing this. I’m away from the official writing chambers, and I don’t want to short-change my online image. I mean, based on the way this is written, you probably think I have tiny muscles…
but they’re actually huge.()
can I post a picture of your muscles?
Maybe that new band was “leeland”?
If not, you should check them out. they have a myspace music junk. I like ’em.
“We can’t contain our decor skills much longer.” I think you’re concerned that your wife is gonna just start throwing paint on things. lol! I think that girl’s name was Andrea Webber. And she had a band but apparently they don’t deserve a name. I’d call them the Windy Plaid Shorts Band. Yes?
How awesome. I would love to see Grits and Relient K. *jealous!*
