Jess and I had a hard time back from Georgia. We had a car accident on an interstate. Good news is that we both walked away with only scratches and minor whiplash; nobody else was hurt/involved. Bad news… dang that junk is lame.
Again I realize that God must really love us and have an enduring and meanful life ahead of us. It’s a miracle that we’re both safe and that no other cars were invovled as we swerved around and hit underneath a bridge. Nonetheless, we need prayers to rise above the stress and emotional pain we’re going through. We had to stay in a hotel in the middle of nowhere and take a $90 cab to a car rental… then finish the second half of our 10 hour drive. We returned home to a house destroyed by rats. We’re now resting as much as we can before we get up at 3am to catch our plane from Orlando to AZ. You can find a better version of this story on Jess’ xanga.
btw, I got the job for Youth for Christ! I’ll be excited to start that job next school year.
Well praise God you both were okay. It sounds like you guys had a crummy week. Sorry to hear about that. Congratulations on the job! So you’ll be leading worship for them?
P.S. Hopefully I’ll get to see you guys when you get here.
Thank goodness you both are okay. I’ve been in car wrecks before. (yes plural)
I know you guys have only scratches, but you should still get checked out by a doctor.
My neck still hurts sometimes and I didnt see a doctor, now I’m seeing one.
Plus, you might have some blood pooling in your bruises which might turn into a hematoma.
No biggie, but they get ugly and buldgy and they really really really hurt when you get them rubbed out.
Congratulations on the job! Safe driving!
