Biking in FL

When I think of the word “biking” I immediatly link it to cranking up an AZ homevill hill in a 1-speed, loaded down with hundreds of Sunday papers at a quarter to 4am.  Yesterday iced the painful memory.

Jess and I drove down to “The Hammock” state park and rented bikes to take down this 2 mile loop.  Man, in Florida you hardly have to peddal more than once every 20 seconds or so.  It was fun.  That place is beautiful, with like huge forest/swamp setting stuff…  I felt like I was going through the trechea of the magical beast of growth lands.  Problem is we did it instead of going to the gym.

The bikes that the station rents out were made in the early 10s or 20s or so…  which means we’ll prolly have to see what Wal-Mart has before next time.

In other news, I’m still trying to finish the project I was making for Papa’s day.  I’m a bad son.

Hey there my friend, I’m sad I didn’t get to see you and Jess when you came down, I was in Phoenix with my sis until about 2 days before you left I think.  She should be moving down to SV as soon as she gets a job so yay!  Hope all is well, I wish there was a forest/swamp setting here… lucky 🙂
