In the summer of 2000, I moved out of my parent’s main house, into a little building my dad used to work out of in the back yard (referred to as the “Launch Pad”).  With my newfound privacy and ability to be as loud as I wanted at all hours, I decided to delve into music, more than the little bit of youth group worship stuff I was doing up until then.

Over the next months I borrowed my mom’s guitars and used songwriting as a way to teach myself how to play, sing, write and “produce” with what little tools I had available (a PC chat mic and Casio keyboard, paired with my rough singing voice and guitar playing).  The result is this first album.

My buddy Sean Baber is featured on one track, who was always a WAY better musician than me (definitely the stand-out track, though I’m nostalgically proud of them all).
