I’ve been unemployed for about two and a half months now.
House(s)
The first two months have been spent working on the yard and the house; trying to get it in the best condition possible so that we can hopefully sell it quickly after we move… and once my wife no longer makes “the big bucks”.
In about another month we’ll be living in Georgia, fixing up the house we closed on a week ago and still paying the painful mortgage on the house here (hopefully for a short time). We know the Lord has been walking us through this whole process though and always provides far more than we deserve or need.

Crude Canvas
It just so happened my brother (Andrew) came up with a few tracks for us to start working on around the same time. Here are the two that we’ve finished and uploaded under the name “Crude Canvas”:
Ananias Worship Album 2011
Jess and I have also been working on a worship album… sort of a tribute to the past few years at TMCC. We’re taking the favorite 10 songs we’ve been doing over the last year or three and recording kind of a fun acoustic version of each. Since only one of the songs on this album will be ours, we plan to give the project away. Hopefully we’ll do a farewell show in town and be able to give CDs away there to whoever comes.
Other Projects
I’ve also been working on a Fray parody music video about SNES video games. It’s pretty close to done. I’ll probably post it tomorrow morning since the video takes place on a Saturday.
Song writing has been increasing. I can hardly pick up a guitar without writing a little tune. I’ve only lacked the opportunity to spend a few hours demoing each song out. I plan to start recording demos regularly though, posting them on here. Maybe I’ll do one today.
During Spring Break, I also had a blast producing a little EP in one day. A group of guys my brother (Arden) was traveling with from their college in Colorado Springs was playing at churches together in AZ. I wanted to help them create something they could use to raise some gas money. Hopefully it worked for that. Here’s that 3 song album (feel free to download tracks):

Believe it or not, I have even a few more things I want to share, but I think I just need to plan to post on here more regularly now. Firing off 20 different things that I/we have been working on in one post is overwhelming… and most of them are likely to be ignored by anyone with a life who doesn’t want to check out mine for 3 hours! 😀
