The concept of this world is to have a huge, steam punk, open-world made up of small floating islands, that you explore on foot, and also navigate between on air-ships and the like.
My brother Arden and I started working on Skylands of Darmanis during the summer of 2011 with some slow and rough patches along the way. In 2012 we took the game a new direction as he moved to Georgia in July to attempt full development within a year through the help of a Kickstarter campaign. This attempt at crowd fund raising was unsuccessful and we quickly lost interest in continuing.
Currently this game is “on hold”. It’s hard to know right now if we’ll return to finish it, but I am very fond of the game concept and what we’ve built so far! Maybe it’ll be a solo-task, after I finish Nectira.
